First and foremost, at the meeting, Principal Hu Qilin delivered the opening speech, stating that this consultative meeting was a forum for ideological exchange, work review and development planning for the school as it stood at a new development stage. In the meantime, he affirmed the phased achievements made by all faculties and departments of Anqing Foreign Language School over the past semester through concerted efforts and practical actions. Moreover, he emphasized that theoretical exploration was aimed at facilitating more practical work. Besides, all participants should adopt a realistic attitude, confront problems head-on, and plan for the future, in order to identify the direction and unite efforts for the new semester and the long-term development of Anqing Foreign Language School.

Subsequently, the heads of each department made their respective speeches for communication. Based on the characteristics of each grade level, the Primary School, Junior High and Senior High School Department summarized the highlights and achievements of their work in the first semester in areas such as education and teaching, moral education construction, team building, and student development. Also, they deeply reflected on the shortcomings in terms of teacher team building, characteristic course construction, and the organization of characteristic activities. Additionally, heads of each department responsible for teaching and research, party building, logistics, personnel affairs, and admissions each expressed their own opinions and had candid exchanges. Evidently, through the collision of ideas, they reached a consensus on development.

Last but not the least, in his concluding speech, Principal Hu Qilin made comments on the reports from each school department and each functional Department, commending everyone's attitude of facing problems directly and their pragmatic planning approach, and providing guidance for the future work of each department.
